HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE TO BOOK?
If it's your first time booking an appointment with Hairaddictz, you will need to book a New Client Service. New client services are designed specifically to ensure you reach your desired look or palette. As a new client, the different packages you can choose give us extra time to have a consultation and accounts for extra product. The more time we have together, the more we can achieve in one session (based on colouring conditions). Consultations allow us to assess your hair integrity, review your colour history, and understand your comfort level, hair fears, and goals. This way we can create a game plan and schedule to achieve your desired look that best suits your day-to-day routine. This is why it is necessary to fill out our pre-consultation form, in order to maximize the time we have together in studio.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PACKAGE I SHOULD BOOK?
If you are a new client, you need to select one of the NEW CLIENT packages or services. Existing clients gain access to exclusive packages, only available once we have curated a unique plan just for you. HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO COME IN FOR MAINTENANCE?
For Blondes, it's typical to come in anywhere from 8-16 weeks depending on one's personal blonde journey and desired blonde look. Our Signature Lived-in is designed to be low-maintenance with a natural grow-out, allowing you to decide when you need a refresh. During your first appointment, we will determine what the maintenance and upkeep journey will look like uniquely for you, based on your goals.
Once you've had the Transformation or the Signature Lived-In service, it's important to keep up with maintenance of your appointments to ensure that we keep your hair in optimal condition and in line with your desired look. Depending on your desired look, if you go 4 months or longer without an appointment, then you will need to book the Revitalize or Signature Lived-in package to compensate for the amount of regrowth and rebalancing needed to get your hair back on track with your desired look and goals.

For the Root Touch-Up service, it' s typical to have an appointment every 4-6 weeks, in order to refresh your mid-shaft to ends. You can add Toning Gloss + Treatment to add shine and vibrancy, every 8-10 weeks.

WHY DOES MY BLONDE TURN YELLOW OR BRASSY?
Some degree of warmth such as a yellow or brassy tone is exposed and naturally happens when hair undergoes the lightning or colouring process. When we use toning gloss during your blonde and colour service, we are cancelling the warmth as needed to the extent needed to achieve your desired look. Overtime however, your hair will naturally attempt to revert to it's natural pigment. How your natural hair behaves and things such as natural elements like heat damage, UV rays, and product and or water mineral buildup, is what will determine how often and when you need to return for your next appointment.
WHAT IS A TONING GLOSS?
Toning gloss a very important product that helps us achieve your desired and customized look. A toning gloss is sheer coloured and allows us to cancel or emphasize the underlying warmth found in your hair as necessary, in order to achieve the blonde or caramel hues you desire.
Since hair is naturally inclined to want to revert to it's natural warmth, toning gloss must be reapplied approximately every 6-8 weeks in order to maintain the results achieved. The length of time between appointments all depends on how frequently you wash your hair, what hair products you use and how your hair responds to the natural elements mentioned in the answer above.
CAN TONING GLOSS MAKE ME BLONDER?
The short answer is no. A toning gloss can only work at/ with the level of brightness that your hair exposes during the lightning process. It will tone down the yellow out of blonde, orange out of caramel and red out of brown, without making the hair lighter.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED TO GET THE LOOK I WANT?
Everyone's colour journey is unique and so is the appointment type and number of sessions required to meet unique hair goals. The number of sessions can depend on whether a client requires significant rebalancing or multiple techniques to reach their ideal hair goal. Some other factors that can determine how many sessions are needed include:
  • previous colour history
  • the integrity of your hair
  • natural pigmentation
  • the density and texture of your hair strands
  • lifestyle choices
  • the specifics of your desired hair look
About half of our new clients can get to their desired look in one session when all these conditions are met. Typically during each session we’re able to build in at least 2 colours and/or dimensions, where as most desired looks require 4-5. Therefore, the more sessions you have, the more we can achieve your hair goals.
WHAT IS OLAPLEX AND BOND BUILDER?
OLAPLEX is a professional-inspired treatment that primes hair for deeper repair with the highest dose of patented technology. It rebuilds hair bonds, strengthens and protects hair integrity. These bonds give the hair its structure, strength and stability. When disulphide bonds are broken, it results in damage.
We use OLAPLEX to restore damaged and compromised hair by repairing from the inside out. The result is a dramatic reduction in breakage during a blonding or colour service for hair that is noticeably healthier and more resilient, and colour that is more vibrant and longer-lasting immediately following and between appointments.
